Grace's Story
Grace DePietro is an electrical engineer from New York interested in renewable energy and the future of electrical grids. She completed an Erasmus Mundus Master in Renewable Energy in the Marine Environment (REM+) with a specialization in Power Electronics and Control at University College Cork, the University of the Basque Country, and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. She became interested in marine renewable energy because it combines her background in electrical engineering and her love of the ocean. Her thesis involved creating a static and dynamic model of an offshore wind farm for feasibility studies. In her free time she enjoys spending time outside like hiking and going to the beach.

Within the DREAM+PLAN Program Grace is looking forward to getting to participate in a very exciting research project, being able to explore a new culture and get to know a very lively city.
