Sebastian Davalos

Sebastian is a doctoral researcher and MSCA Fellow in DREAM+PLAN, Employed at Employed at University of Agder, Kristiansand, Norway & Co-enrolled at RMIT University in a Double Degree Position.

Sebastian's Story
Sebastian was born in Ecuador where he studied a bachelor in Geography and worked for several years in the field of sustainability, gaining diverse experience in areas like urban transport, renewable energy, circular economy, biodiversity conservation, and social participation. Together, with a group of talented people, Sebastian founded a local NGO focusing on projects about sustainability and innovation. Sebastian was the youngest candidate for mayor in his home city. This experience, combined with his technical and activist background, opened his mind about how theory and practice merge into different spheres of society.

Sebastian is very excited to meet the other DREAM+PLAN PhD students and about being in a community of people from all around the world who have the same purpose - to create a better future.
