Selma is a doctoral researcher and MSCA Fellow in DREAM+PLAN, Employed at TalTech, Tallinn, Estonia​ & Co-enrolled at RMIT University in a Double Degree Position.

Selma's Story
Selma is a researcher and practitioner at the intersection of sustainable entrepreneurship, digital ecosystems, and innovation policy. With over seven years of international experience spanning venture capital, accelerator, corporate venture building, and startup ecosystems in Asia-Pacific, Europe, and the U.S., she has supported 100+ startups and collaborated with global partners including Meta, Prudential, and government agencies. Selma holds degrees in Law (University of Indonesia), an Erasmus Mundus Master in Public Sector Innovation and e-Governance (KU Leuven, University of Münster, TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology), and an MBA (Quantic School of Business & Technology). Outside academia, Selma is passionate in connecting with early-stage founders, building bridges between investors, innovators, and policymakers across regions.

Through DREAM+PLAN, Selma hopes to build lifelong collaborations across disciplines, share knowledge across industries and geographies, and co-create solutions that bridge academic rigor with real-world action. By combining perspectives across disciplines and industries, Selma believes we can push ideas further and create solutions that are practical, scalable, and globally relevant.
