Zekun's Story
Zekun is a dual PhD researcher at the University of Vaasa and RMIT University, studying how AI reshapes media work and human-AI collaboration in creative industries. His work examines how AI tools transform creative industries, human-AI collaboration dynamics, and the ethics of automation in media production.
Complementing his academic work, Zekun founded CIYCEA Youth Cultural Exchange Association(non-profit), which partners with the European Parliament, universities across the EU, and events like Milan Design Week to advance youth-led dialogues on technology, sustainability, and cross-cultural exchange.
Through CIYCEA, he designs international forums exploring how emerging technologies can foster inclusive futures—bridging academic insights with real-world policy and creative practice. His interdisciplinary approach integrates critical media studies, participatory design, and technology governance, aiming to ensure AI development centers human dignity and ecological resilience.
Being part of the DREAM+PLAN Program has been Zekun's long-term dream. He is thrilled to collaborate with like-minded individuals working toward shared goals.
