Mr. Federico Porrà is a Policy Officer for Climate at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Research and Innovation (DG RTD), where he works on climate policy and governance within the EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change. His work as an EU Official focuses on advancing R&I and policy frameworks and mechanisms that support climate resilience and adaptation across the European Union, in line with the EU’s broader climate and sustainability objectives.

Session Description:

This webinar will explore the current EU climate policy landscape, with a particular focus on R&I mechanisms as well as policy frameworks supporting climate resilience and adaptation across Europe. The session will provide an overview of how EU institutions design, coordinate, and implement climate resilience policies and initiatives, and how these frameworks support Member States, regions, and cities in addressing escalating climate risks.
