Kick-starting our mission to create positive impact: DREAM+PLAN Training Framework
DREAM+PLAN Kick Off Meeting - Day 1 Tuesday 14th October: DCs - Breakout Room, 4.00pm - 5.30pm

Blurb:
The DREAM+PLAN Training Framework is designed as a three-year journey that evolves alongside each researcher’s PhD path. Building on learnings and experiences from one year to the next, it offers a structured yet dynamic approach to personal and academic growth.

Year 1 – Induction (Pathfinding Stage): navigating the personalised PhD journey within a shared mindset of “we are all in this together for the greater good.”
Year 2 – Accelerator Stage: advancing research sophistication and deep learning.
Year 3 – Transitioning Stage: preparing for completion and envisioning next steps.
This Kick-off focuses on Year 1, beginning with the online Launch event, which leads into the five-day Summer School. Each day builds on a regenerative backbone: Day 1 – Roots of Change, Day 2 – Disturbance & Discovery, Day 3 – Resilience & Adaptation, Day 4 – Seeds of Restoration, Day 5 – Regeneration in Action.
Through a mix of talks, workshops, group projects, experiential learning, gamification, and design thinking, participants will deepen interdisciplinary collaboration and creativity. The ultimate goal: empowering researchers to contribute towards a more sustainable, fair, inclusive, and thriving planet for future generations.
Your active participation will not only enrich the dialogue but also provide valuable insights that will help us refine and enhance future editions of the Summer School.
