Eeva Hellström is the Senior Lead, Foresight and Training at The Finnish Innovation Fund Sitra, Finland

Eeva Hellström works at Sitra, the Finnish Innovation Fund. Sitra is an independent future fund. We anticipate the future, drive change and accelerate solutions to major challenges in our society in collaboration with other actors.

 

As a Senior Lead in Foresight and Training, Eeva takes a holistic and transformative approach to the future. In recent years, she has specialized in studying and facilitating dialogues with stakeholders about alternative futures for tomorrow's sustainable economy.

 

Eeva believes that there are more possible futures for the economy than we might expect, if we approach it boldly, with diverse perspectives, and a willingness to challenge conventional thinking. Recent areas of interest to her include the intangible economy and regenerative economics.

 

In addition to her expertise in foresight, Eeva has over 20 years of experience in multidisciplinary visioning, strategy, interaction processes, and societal training.

 

Eeva Hellström holds M.Sc. in Forestry and Land Use Economics and a D.Sc. in Environmental Economics from the University of Helsinki.
